The helicopter ride itself was excellent. Spectacular views and skilled pilot. A delay to the flight occurred with the stated reason being low cloud over the flight area. However, it was clear that the delay was actually due to the late arrival of the helicopter. When we were underway, the 30 minute flight became 20 minutes, flying to the bottom of Windermere and back (not the length of Windermere as advertised). Delays are accepted, but curtailment of the experience to reclaim lost time without explanation is not acceptable.

I thought it was a very well, professionally organised experience and enjoyed every minute of it. I had paid the supplement for a front seat and think that made it even more enjoyable. Notable “landmarks” for me were Tunstead Quarry (the largest continuous face in Europe), Wynatts Pass, Mam Tor, The Dams obviously, Chatsworth, Bakewell and The Monsal Trail. Well done to Neil and everybody involved for a great trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The demonsrater was very informative and encouraging. Gave us time with each bird. Only dissappointment he couldn't let them free fly because of the close vicinity of the main roads. Would recommend.

My mum and I had a lovely time on the steam train from Chinnor to princes Risborough. The journey from parking, where to go, getting onto the train, finding our seats and off again was totally stress free. The journey there and back is not to long, not to short and the scenery was lovely. The staff were very polite, helpful and enthusiastic. Lots of pubs nearby for a drink and some food afterwards. Would highly recommend this experience!

Had a wonderful afternoon on this steam train journey. Fabulous carriages, and staff very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Am sure we shall return, and on that occasion will have one of the tasty looking afternoon teas you can have during the trip. Recommend experience.

I bought this experience as a birthday gift for my sister. We had the cream tea package. It was worth every penny. Such a wonderful feeling traveling on an old steam train, through the beautiful countryside. All the gentlemen who work there were very polite and welcoming. The historical information given by the staff was very interesting. And lastly the scones and (bottomless) tea were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would happily do it again. Thank you.

It was an enjoyable experience lasting over 3 hours, we got to hold 6 different beautiful birds. There were just two things I wish we knew before we went 1 - Unfortunately they were not able to fly the birds at Bottisham Airfield due to issues with the location. At other locations that would have been possible, had we known that we would have booked a different location. 2 - Taking a folding chair is great idea. with 30 people doing the experience there is quite a lot of waiting around.

What an amazing day where I was able to handle six birds of prey. Reilly, the instructor, was very informative about each of the birds, and was able to answer any question. He explained how to handle each bird, and how not to spook them. There was about 25 of us on this experience, and we all were able to handle all six birds. A good 3 1/2 hours well spent. The only issue was that the Bottisham Airfield is very difficult to find, a total lack of road signs, which of course isn’t your doing.

Pretty place, small and therefore very friendly a really welcoming experience. The volunteer team really love and care about what they do. Socialising and looking after everyone so well. Sweet little cafe with home made cake and freshly cooked stuff plus lovely sandwiches. Good shop plenty of souvenirs and books new and second hand. Nice little branch line journey. Time to enjoy champagne and chocs generous and delicious.

My son and I had a fantastic day, the team at AC Shooting School were great, the tips and advice given meant that we were both able to make progress during the session. Very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Highly recommend, we’ll be heading back again

The helicopter ride itself was breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic. The pilot was exceptionally skilled and informative, pointing out key landmarks with great knowledge and a wonderful sense of humour. The ground crew ensured we felt safe and comfortable at every step, patiently explaining safety procedures and even helping with photos. Their attention to detail, warmth, and dedication turned an already amazing ride into a perfect memory. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough—largely thanks to the incredible people who made it happen.

Easy to get to as was finding the cafe. Easy to check in with friendly staff on duty I went for the 12 mini trip and will be on a longer one next time. Pilot is great and puts you at ease.

Took my father in law and step dad for a flight on 31/5/26 as a birthday present. The captain, victor, very kindly flew over our farm. It absolutely made my father in laws day as he’d never even been on a plane before and to see his farm from the air was a once in a lifetime for us.

There are really not enough stars to give this company. Every single person was wonderful. So well organised. As a very nervous flyer they really couldn't do enough for me to put me at ease.
